In his early life, T. Jasper Slim, Mack as they called him, was a drifter. In his mid-life, T. Jasper Slim, Mack as they called him, was still a drifter. But boy, did that all change. Well, yes and no.
During his days on foot and ridin' the rails, the ol' boy became not only an accomplished drifter, but also a wealthy wonderer (how remains to be known).
He, on a whim, a bet, and another reason, decided to settle down and start a college. He did just that; Slim's Discount University. But it wasn't long before he disappeared. Some speculated he got the urge to drift again. And a note he left suggested he got the urge to drift again.
The University he got going thrives now and the legend of Mack Slim lives on. And the rumors, of sightings of ol' Slim continue occasionally.
